No, sneaking out is never a good idea.. chances are someone is going to get caught. Plus I'd be furious if another parent were "covering" for my child. Your friend should just try talking to her mom, let her know all the plans.. if the answer is no then plan swimming in the lake for sometime during the day so noone will have to "sneak out"
